sharks get stressed during things like this therefore making it easier to kill em

  11. MrClamSmaka Says:

looks like these guys are playing tug of war with these beasts of the sea, are these rods somehow attached to the boat? forgive the stupid question but ive never gone fishing in my life but i love the enthusiasm of fisherman its great to see.. it just looks like theres nothing holding the guys in the boat so im thinking the strengh of the sharks could just drag them over then chow time lol whats the deal.

my guess is part of the sharks pulling power is lost due to the fact that he is pulling the boat all over the place. All the has to due is get good grip and footing and the shark will tire its self :s

  14. bleeshpo Says:

The fishing reel has a braking mechanism (called the drag) that is usually set well below the breaking strength of the fishing line; this is so the line doesn’t break. If the mechanism screws up and seizes, is set to tight, or the line is tangled just right, you can get pulled in, or just let go of the tackle. Big game fisherman are often harnessed to the tackle and once in a while they’re pulled in and even drowned.

wow their only thought is not to “just reproduce” these fish that people are so desperate to hunt all play extremely important parts in keeping our ecosytem/environment stable and healthy! without these fish who just “swim around all day and think about reproducing” keep us alive, and we keep killing them, and at the rate that we are killling off these fish, sharks especially, humans may not be able to sustain thier “perfect” worl much longer…

  19. SDFD101 Says:

    That is a BIG boy!

  20. demongem82 Says:

by looking at most of teh comments so far, ppl watching this video are ppl that “protect the fishies” o plz. they swim around all day and their only thought is to reproduce. get over it.

  21. wastefulungratfuls Says:

What a shame that we are unable to just fish to eat and that we as a race need to hunt for fun.. maybe one day someone will arrive or something will evolve to chase us around and have fun hunting us… several people on here deserve to be prey.
